I stop the music and place my headset on my desk,
Putting an end to the rhythmical but fabricated melody
I look out the window and gaze at the surrounding
The sky has poured its perfect blessing
Yes, rain, rain, rain!
*
Oh, the sound it lashes out is so rhythmical,
And the energy it unleashes is so powerful
*
The rain’s beauty lies in its non-fabricated melody
As it is composed by Mother Nature with pure honesty
*
So I take off my shoes and run out
Closing my eyes, I feel myself is roiling in excitement
When the rain touches my skin
And caresses my soul
*
Suddenly I start swaying in gaiety
I dance under the rain
*
Come, my friends, join me!
Dancing under the rain is a delicate beauty!
*

I love this xo
You took me back to childhood when I too delighted to dance in the rain.
So beautiful words, lovely picture;)
Enjoyed the loveliness of drizzle – dance and enthralled by the inherent adulation of Mother – Nature… Superbly stated!
Very nice blog & post. Thank you for sharing. I look forward to reading more!

Lovely poem, very atmospheric. I can see you have a Facebook Like button but it would be great if you would add a Facebook share button, as I would love to share some of your posts on my http://www.facebook.com/quirkybooksnet page.
Unfortunately on my screen there is only one Facebook Like button and as I have Liked the post, it is greyed out and there is no other Facebook button. Sorry.
A beautiful and hopeful poem. Good to dance in the rain on a warm Spring or Summer day. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
Aloha, Subhan! This is my most favorite among your masterpieces. It’s just so stunningly beautiful. And it absolutely reflect the beautiful person in you! Happy New Year, my friend! Take care always! = )
Yeah, this is my new baby, actually. = ) Well, my plan is just to write at least once a month now. Email me the instructions. I wouldn’t mind subscribing through email. = )
Gorgeous! When I was a kid living in Florida, I loved when it started to storm when we were swimming and the feel of the rain hitting the water. Of course, we couldn’t stay in the water long because of the lightning safety issues, but it was a beautiful experience. 🙂
I loveee rain. And I love your poetry. Keren Kak.
Halo Kak Zein, apakabar? Thankyou for liking my post.Hehe.

Absolutely beautiful. You cause nature to take on music as symphony. Wonderful! Tonight here I listen to the high winds buffeting against my house. Yet another type of music but more in the drum section. Take care Subhan!
Aww! Such a sweet sweet poem. It was really beautiful. The rhyming was amazing – my favorite part of the poem. It had a good flow, and the vocab usage was really good. The emotion is portrayed brilliantly. An excellent job! Keep it up!
I love dancing out in a summer rainstorm. Thanks for reminding me of that moment. 🙂
Its all been said, but…beautiful! 🙂
Hi and Happy New Year, all the best for 2013.
Beautiful prose, yes the rhythms of Mother Nature are the best beats, the best sounds and if you listen to them with the ears of your heart, you will dance.
Ciao,
Patricia
Beautiful poem. I discover your writings just today and I like what you do 🙂
Your poems are so beautiful. I wish for the rain. Now the ground is white with snow. Soon we are expecting some rain, unusual for now but preferred to the cold and the snow. The sound of snow is actually quite Zen but I do love the sound of rain on the roof just over the room where I sleep. Thank you for resubscribing. It is always good to read your poetry. It is so amazing. jk

Hi Subhan, happy new year and thank you for these beautiful words. It was too cold to go out and dance in the rain here, but It has finally stopped raining so I walked out in the garden now and the peace and calm reached down and touched me like a cool hand; a perfect moment, like a slow dance with the night.
Beautiful image and words, Subhan. 🙂

This so wonderfully captures a love for rain and Nature, and it reflects my own fondness for rain as well, so I’m happy to strongly relate to the joy here. And it reminds me it’s been some time I had a nice walk in the rain, I should grab one the next chance I get.
Yes I have thank you 🙂 A nice little walk under both sky and trees, close to home.
Thank you, Subhan!
Those lines are magical, makes me to have a feel to dance in the rain…

thanks for stopping by my blog Subhan! I love the reminder in this poem that rain is delicate. I always heard it that way as a little girl – not always now as an adult because I am now the one driving the van and handing over the car keys to my sons!

There is always something wonderful and healing about rain…even downpours…washing away the pain…cleansing us for joy…Thank you!
A good rain is like a baptism: washing away, rebirth and resurrection.
We miss too many opportunities to dance in the rain. Love the photo.
Hello, Pattisj,
Thank you for your lovely comment. Lovely day to you! 🙂

Dancing in the rain is so much fun. Since I was a child I am the one who usually heads outside when the rain comes instead of running inside. However, the rain has to be a warm one.

You are right, Eric! I did put an end to my music to listen to the gorgeous song of Mother Nature last week, and the rain sounded melodious to me too. Thank you for appreciating my poem.. 🙂
