Then Nasheva continued,

O people of Egypt,

What was said to the Sinai mountain that made it strong, was said to me here in my heart,

And here I say it to you, so your heart becomes strong.

What was said to the chrysanthemums that made them blossom, was whispered to my ears,

And here I whisper it to you, so your soul blossoms.

What was said to the river that made it flow, was poured into my bloodstream,

And here I pour it into you, so your heart becomes a river that flows love.

What was said to jasmines and roses that made them sweet-scented, was blown to my lungs,

And here I blow it to you, so your soul is sweet-scented, more fragrant than jasmines and roses combined.

  1. Three major religions revere that part of the globe. Many expeditions have been made to try and trace back history. Apparently there are ancient writings in the rocks there and evidence of metal smelting works. I wonder if it has always been desert?
