Falling in Love is Like Catching a Disease

Falling in love

is like catching a disease.

*

But unlike other diseases,

those who catch it

do not want to be healed.

And those who suffer from it

do not wish to convalesce.

*

The victims of love

are the happiest of people,

even when

they are engulfed in misery.

  2. Subhan for some one who is just learning to write poetry you write very very well indeed. That sort of makes love a dichotomy doesn’t it? Where the two halfs oppose even as they attract. Perhaps like a magnet! Very well done my friend, Penny
