My words are the ink of love
I write what You want me to write
I can only be what You want me to be
I am a pen in the grace of Your Hands

Love is the story
That has spurred from morning’s first light
Until evening’s last stars
That’s what You want me to write

You want me to write about love
As the only story
“A story enjoyable to many”, You said

In the circle of love I am in total surrender
My words are the ink of love

  8. words have immense power..
    they can change in so many ways..
    and as Kipling says.. words written by those timeless are inks most powerful drug used by mankind.

  22. Hi Subhan, a very thought provoking poem, Thank you and yes regardless of what we share it is what the ears want to hear that will decide what will be accepted or rejected because what we feel and think even if it’s wrong will motivate our responses.

    True Love is like a Conversation, it can even be likened to our Blogging , if it is one sided then it is a monologue and not about sharing together, yes perhaps some will have more to share in response and others less but we need to be willing to listen and respond back not show our disinterest by ignoring them, they feel just as deeply about what they share as we do but then we don’t agree if we know they are in error, just to keep the peace or not to be rejected, Honesty which is part of Love when based on Truth always has the victory, shallow communication or platitudes will be shown for what they really are, True Love is genuine and does not change.

    Love if centred only on what we want is worldly and selfish and is not about what is best for others, it’s all about us. This is why God tells us to have His Love, it considers the needs of others first and takes an interest in the good they do, this does not happen when love is motivated by self because when it gets what it wants it looses interest in others or to be Truthful was never really interested in the first place.

    As I shared Subhan your poem was really very thought provoking, thank you again.

      • Wow Subhan, you plowed through your comments in very short time and yet your words were not rushed and always kind which is part of Love, sometimes of course we need to be firm and to the point if necessary but still kind.

    Yes, we all love to read and escape into love…because where our hearts might be empty, we can escape into the notion of love through the emotional expression emanating from the ink of sentimental suggestion.
