Another self-translated excerpt from my novel, Malula:
*
*
“We may be able to achieve many things in our life,
but we will not get everything we want.
God’s secret works when we cannot get everything we want or
accomplish everything we plan.
When things don’t work out, we must be patient. God knows what we want.
The only reason why She doesn’t give us everything is because
She will only give us the best for our life.”

Suka dengan tulisan2nya… Inspiring… salam kenal…
O iya, Kenapa di kalimat terakhir ini pakai “She”?
“The only reason why She doesn’t give us everything is because
She will only give us the best for our life.”
Hi Lia,
Thank you for your wonderful comment. I really appreciate it. I suppose you would agree with me that God is a sexless essence whose existence is beyond our comprehension; so the use gender references “He” and “She” as it occurs in English, Arabic, and other sexist languages, are only portrayal of our limited linguistic expression.
I use “She” when referring to Her femininity in nurturing all creatures, but “He” when referring to His Power of Creating the creatures. It may not the best explanation, but hope this makes sense to you.
Many blessings to you, Lia.

Hello ! definitly internet brings us all the time where we have to go! i like the way you talk about patience! sometimes i ‘ve noticed in my life that when i want to force something, nothing happen! the doors are closed…
sorry for my english hope you will understand what i mean…
.the night when I let myself guided by the inspiration the words are coming. I wanted to share these words and I do not know where they come from :” love, think, vibrates, the universe will help you breathe and inspire the world and create the next one”.
Continues to inspire this world .. we need to connect us to the world soul,we need to believe in our dreams. we need to be all on this planet onely one breath, the breath of universe, maby we can call it god…maby we can call it unity!
Hi Sandra,
Thank you very much for your comment. I really appreciate it. I have just been back from my home country so it takes a while to respond to this comment.
Yes, you are right. Despite the hardship, we need to continue inspiring the world, as it is a global village with love as its roof.
Many blessings to you, Sandra. And I hope that you continue enjoying my blog. May happiness reside in the realm of your heart.
Namaste,

I think we learn more from failing than from success sometimes. God can teach us so much in the low times and honestly, getting everything we wanted would probably be the worst thing for us.
Hi David,
Thank you very much for sharing your wisdom with us. I really appreciate your comment. Hope you have a lovely and blessings to you, my friend.

So many aspects of The One that are often forgotten and narrowed by the limited eye sight
of the genus of mankind. As we all are in The Image of The One – The One is All – even the parts some of us (that can think) are not always in agreement with
That’s true. Absolutely. Thank you for leaving your beautiful prints here, Jules. Hope my blog doesn’t disappoint you and that you will continue enjoying my blog. Lovely day to you!

Thank you, Margo. Lovely day to you!

Such a lovely reminder God’s mysteries are worthy of our deepest trust as our greatest lessons unfold moment by moment. Beautiful.
Thank you very much. I hope you continue enjoying my blog. Lovely day to you!
Subhan Zein
Glad you explained your thinking when speaking of God as a He or She as a “portrayal of our limited linguistic expression.” For me God is my Heavenly Father who is not only loving and nurturing but also omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent. I am so thankful that God not only knows what is best for us but gives only what is His best. Thank you for stopping by my post. To God be the glory.
Joy
Hi Illumylife by Joy,

Love this. Ir’s true that happiness doesn’t come by having everything, but by being content with what we do have.

I’m not a very religious person but I do believe in the existence of a greater power. I also feel that we are responsible for shaping our own lives. If you strive hard enough, you can achieve what you want. After all, God helps those who help themselves
-Nid
Hi Nid,
We don’t have to be religious to listen to God’s voice inside our heart. You are right, we are shaped by the experience occurring in our live, and we must strive in order to succeed. When success prevails then it is time to celebrate and be thankful, but when things don’t work out, it is patience that will do us good.
Thank you for your comment again! Lovely day to you!
Subhan Zein
Yup true that. Patience is a virtue.
You have a great day too
-Nid
Thank you. I AM having a great day! I found a cutie named “Nidhi Menon” subscribed to my Facebook page this morning. I thought the page isn’t very appealing, not like that of Paulo Coelho, you know. Have you seen his by the way?
But the fact that you and four others signed up in the past 24 hours made me like, wow, I cannot be more enthralled! LOL
So that’s one thing to be thankful for today.
Subhan Zein
Haha, I didn’t quite notice you had a facebook page until yesterday. You have a great page and a looooot of fans
His facebook page? Just gave it a look
Hahaha, you deserve it
And where can I read that lovely book you’ve written?
“A lot”? haha, you’re not making fun of me, are you?
I am sure I am waaaaayyyy from a lot. My FB Page is new, only less than 2 months. It’s not like Mr Coelho who’s been there for 2 years, and has got 8 million fans already. I’m still faraway from achieving my dream, in terms of publication as well as amassing FB fans. But yeah, no worries, I’ll get there one day.
Do you realize something interesting? In the past 2 days, we’re actually more than commenting on each other’s posts. We’re TALKING! Haha. It’d be great if we could do it some time over Skype. What do you think? We just need to organize it.
I’ve met some fellow bloggers in real life and they turned out to be great people. Hope you are one of them. And I think you are, especially because you’re now supporting Germany. We’ll do your revenge. Haha
Subhan Zein
Making fun of you? Oh no, forgive me if it seemed like that. It’s awe-inspiring how well you’ve done! I’m sure you’ll get there in not time
Haha that’s true
Yeah that’d be really nice
Can you link me to your fb page so we can talk there too and probably arrange a good time to talk
I could do with a few tips
Nid
I’m not a very religious person and I strongly believe that we shape our own lives. But then again, I believe in the existence of a greater power. If we strive hard enough, we can achieve what we want. God helps those who help themselves

You are a wise soul Subhan, and Wisdom is needed in the World right now.. We only need to ask and it is given…. The trick is in knowing how to ask.. and know wnen it is given… For we are given many Signs and many gifts, but many do not even see the gifts and know not when they see a Sign..
Keep on your road my friend.. For it is well Signposted.. With many Gifts… All of which you will treasure.. And they are all held within the heart..

Beautiful words my friend…when one learns patience he/she is rewarded with an abundance of blessings to shower their lives each day, like falling rain on a hot summer day! You will be renewed and everything your hand touches will find blessed beginings and they will reap a great harvest!
Hi Wendell, you’ve got beautiful words yourself up there. Awesome. Thank you for your lovely comment, my friend. Lovely day to you!
Subhan Zein
Woah! You write beautifully!!
Thank you, Archana. I am humbly thankful. Lovely day to you!
Subhan Zein
It is so true! God always has a better plan for us than we could ever think of ourselves. Beautiful and thoughtful post Subhan!
Thank you, my friend. Thank you for your lovely comment. Lovely day to you!
Subhan Zein
That is why all area of our world , the worship places are still be around of us.
True. Thank you for your comment, my friend.
Subhan Zein
Why is God an external entity? God knows what is best for me because She IS me! That’s my experience and I’m sticking with it!
Good experience you have there; I’m sure there’s always a good time to discuss Pantheism..
Subhan Zein
Is that what it’s called? Learn something new every day!
These words are rather timely at this very juncture in my Life, Subhan! Thank you! This sweet truth is the confirmation I needed. God does in fact know what I want, but only God knows what is best for me, and that that will not be withheld.
Staying the course. (I’ll discuss further in an upcoming post.)
Hi SomerEmpress,
Great to hear your comment and to hear it that it was useful for you. Hope everything goes right in the course of your life. Take care, my friend!
Subhan Zein
Beautiful as usual. Thank you for posting such beautiful Goddess references. You have a true and sweet soul. I’m sorry to have missed many of your posts. I was on a big boat in Alaska and Western Canada, and could find connections. Glad to be back and soothed. Enjoy your day tomorrow (it’s night here).
Thank you for your sweet comment!
Looking forward to having you here. And have a pleasant evening up there!
Subhan Zein
very well said..when we look back at the events of our lives we see kind of a fortunate order in which everything in our lives fortunately happened without even us knowing the significance of it all…thats all god!! he gives us not what we want but what is best for us!
Thank you, Sheevi. I appreciate your comment. Isn’t it interesting how you referred to God with a “He”, whereas I used a “She”?
Subhan Zein
that’s because when i talk of god i somehow unknowingly think of lord shiva..and who you think of when you talk of god??
Oh, for me, God is a sexless essence whose existence is beyond our comprehension; so the use gender references “He” and “She” are only portrayal of our limited linguistic expression.
I use “She” when referring to Her femininity in nurturing all creatures, but “He” when referring to His Power of Creating the creatures. It may not the best explanation, but hope this makes sense to you.
Lovely day to you, Sheevi!
Subhan Zein
lovely explanation indeed..!
it has helped me widen my horizons
If only I could understand how what she gives us is best…
I suppose we won’t understand until we look back at everything. That’s why Steve Jobs said, “We need to connect the dots”. I guess that’s the only possible way we understand Her secret and plans for us.
Subhan Zein
How clever that last line is: “she will only give us the best for our life.” That means everything we wish for is not necessarily the best for our lives. That is a good message to remember.
Thank you very much for your lovely comment, Ronnie. I am humbly thankful.. Lovely day to you!
